Silent installation of Mindomo

To install Mindomo silently to your computer please follow these steps:

Install Mindomo for Windows silently

1. Download the latest Mindomo application

2. Download the Windows initialization script

3. Run the initialization script with the parameters as shown below:
   Per-user install:

   1. Run the initialization script with the following command:

    .\mindomoinit.ps1 -licenseName "John Doe" -licenseKey "XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX" -licenseDate "2025-01-31-E" -checkForUpdates $true -language "en"

   2. Run the installation with the following command:

    Mindomo_v.10.4.5_x64.exe /S

   All-users install (requires admin rights to run):

   1. Run the initialization script with the following command:

    .\mindomoinit.ps1 -licenseName "John Doe" -licenseKey "XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX" -licenseDate "2025-01-31-E" -checkForUpdates $true -language "en" -allUsers $true

   2. Run the installation with the following command:

    Mindomo_v.10.4.5_x64.exe /S /allusers

   Initialization script parameters:

   • licenseName REQUIRED The user’s license name
   • licenseKey REQUIRED The user’s license key
   • licenseDate REQUIRED Format: YYYY-MM-DD-TYPE (e.g. 2025-01-31-E)
   • checkForUpdates REQUIRED $true or $false
   • language REQUIRED Language code (e.g. en, fr, de)
   • allUsers OPTIONAL If $true, writes init.json to Program Files

Install Mindomo for OS-X/MAC silently

1. Download the latest Mindomo application
2. Download the initialization script
3. Run the Initialization Script and Installer
   1. Run the initialization script with the parameters as shown below:

    mindomoinit.sh "Name" "Key" "Date" "Updates" "Language"

   2. Run the installation with the following command:

    Mindomo_v.10.4.5_x64.pkg /S

Parameter description:
Replace parameters with values from your license as described below:

• Name - use “First Last” from your license
• Key - use “XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX” from your license
• Date - use “YEAR-MON-DAY-E” from your license
• Updates - use “true” if you want automatic update checks “false” otherwise
• Language - use “en”,“fr”,“de”, etc.. the language for the application

Update Mindomo silently

1. Download the latest Mindomo application
2. Run the application with the /S and optional /allusers parameters at the end
   E.g. (for Windows)

Mindomo_v.10.4.5_x64.exe /S /allusers

Add /allusers parameter to update for all users (requires admin rights to run)
